About
Built in the field. Refined through the work.
I have spent about two decades building remodeling projects and businesses. The systems, software, and advice came from solving the problems in front of me.
The work came first
I have spent about twenty years in and around residential construction in Houston: estimating, selling, managing crews, and delivering kitchen and whole-home remodels. Running Crafted Kitchens means living with every consequence of how a business operates, from the first phone call to the final walkthrough.
That is where the operating discipline comes from. When a handoff breaks on a real job with a real client waiting, you fix the process, write it down, and make sure it holds the next time.
The systems became tools
The same problems kept coming back: leads scattered across texts, estimates living in one person's head, jobs tracked from memory. When written processes stopped being enough, I built software. Command PRO grew out of running remodeling jobs. MatFlow proved the same approach works in a completely different trade.
None of it started as a product idea. It started as a problem in front of me on a Tuesday.
Now I share what holds up
The advisory work and the insights on this site are the transfer of tested experience: what survived contact with real crews, real clients, and real money. When I sit down with an owner, it is not theory from a book. It is the same set of systems I use to keep projects moving, clients informed, and the business visible.
If something did not hold up in the field, it does not get recommended.
Away from the work I am a husband and a dad, which is the real reason the systems exist: a business that runs well buys back the good hours at home.

Put the experience to work.
If your business needs clearer systems, better decisions, or project direction, that is exactly what the advisory work is for.
